This is a mock up of how my front page is going to look, I am going to have the typical conventions of a magazine such as masthead, cover lines, headlines barcode but i will also include other conventions such as a pug and  banner either at the top or bottom of my page

Pitch

This is my pitch and I have related them to key theorist such as Propp, Levi strauss etc. I believe my characters support a lot of the theorist

This is a scene of Amelia and Daniel on their way to prom. Daniel picks up Amelia before they go out to prom but first asks her to dance so they will have some time alone before they are disturbed by their friends.

Amelia and Daniel first meet

This is a very important scene as it is the first time Amelia and Daniel meet each other at detention.  Amelia and Daniel hit it off an this is where there relationship starts to develop

Learning new things with iMovie

I was playing around with fireworks and experimented on movie trailer ideas, I found how to make this trailer, however this is just a practice as it is my first attempt. I hope as i keep practicing my final trailer will look better than this. When making this I wasn't sure how to change the background music and do other things thats is why I am going to keep practicing in other to develop my skills

Drive by scene

This scene is very important in my trailer as it is the first scene shown, this is a POV shot of Amelia in the car as she is moving yet again to a different city and a different school.

Shooting this clip was a bit difficult as they were some safety hazards that came along with it. I have put a risk assessment that talked about the hazards of shooting this clip.

This is one of the key scenes for my trailer, this scene is very important in the story line of my trailer. It is where Amelia and Daniel break up

Learning more about iMovie

When editing my clips i realised i didnt have enough close-up shots of my actors and most of my shots where long or mid shots.
I checked on the internet how to crop my clips down, although cropping them down doesnt make them the exact shot i need, it gives me more of a variety in my shot types than i did.

How I got my actors

Before finally getting actors who were willing to be in my media, I asked a number of my friends to see if they were able to be in film as it will be less hassle for me and I would know them therefore it will be easier to direct them.

However I asked a number of my friends and most of them weren’t willing to be in my film.

Eventually I got some of my friends to be in the film but it was difficult filming them as they kept messing about and it was looking very unprofessional. I decided to go to a Yr11 drama class, where I was able to find three actors I needed for my characters.

Although the actors didn’t fit the exact description of my characters, I was able to alter my characters to instead fit the description of the actors I got.

When after I got my three actors I created a group chat on WhatsApp where we could all talk and see when was best available for us all to shoot and also decided to break down the shooting into three separate days.

Although I have finished my filming, I will need to do some reshoots with my actors in other to get more shoots types and camera angles, this will make my film/trailer look more professional

Reshooting

After looking at my finished clips, both me and my teacher have agreed that i will need to reshoot some of my scenes. In my clip there are scenes where some of my actors are looking at the camera and also my camera i noticed that my shoots are very limited. Most of my shoots are either mid-shots or are long shots. I believe this will limit my grades and also makes my clips look very limited. I don't think this will be a problem, main big budget films such as The film I AM A LEGEND and a huge blockbuster film Marvel Avengers Assemble which had to be reshot after the final movie was made.
I will be contacting my actors to see when they are available to reshoot

This is a mock uop of a billboard ad i created on fireworks, i researched into billboard ads and i also looked into the sizes of them.

On a website i found, it told me that the size of a billboard ad is 14" in height and 40" in width
